Content Policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
Consent first
Only upload photos and videos of people whose consent you have — usually yourself, or friends and family who agreed. Uploading a stranger's or celebrity's photo to place them in a video they never agreed to is strictly prohibited.
Never allowed
- Minors in any trending video context.
- Nudity, sexual content, or graphic violence. V1 is default-SFW: all inputs and outputs pass safety review.
- Imitating a specific artist's voice, lyrics, likeness, or performance style.
- Uploading copyrighted music as reference material.
- Hateful, harassing, or defamatory content targeting real people or groups.
- Political disinformation or deepfake-style deception.
How review works
Every upload passes automated safety review before generation, and every generated video is reviewed again before delivery. Blocked content shows a generic reason — we do not display provider error details. Credits held for a blocked or failed job are returned automatically.
Consequences
Violating this policy may block the file, the job, or the account — and for serious violations, we report to the relevant authorities where legally required.
Reporting
To report a policy violation, email abuse@aigenvideo.com with details.
What is not allowed
Minors
No photos of children or anyone under 18, in any context — including your own family album, memorial edits or "harmless" trend videos. Uploads with detected minors are blocked automatically, and attempts to circumvent the check end the account.
Real people without consent
Celebrities, public figures, and any private person who has not agreed to appear. This includes photos scraped from social media — a public post is not consent. Impersonating a specific artist's voice or likeness is rejected on the same grounds.
Sexual content
Nudity, sexual acts, and sexualized depictions are blocked on input and again on output. This applies to fiction and "jokes" the same way as to sincere attempts — the classifier does not distinguish intent.
Violence and hate
Graphic violence, gore, extremist symbolism, and content that attacks or dehumanizes people based on protected characteristics are blocked. Images staged to shock — accident scenes, abuse — fall under the same rule.
Copyright and IP
Only upload photos you own or have written permission to use. Recognizable fictional characters, album art, logos you do not control, and copyrighted music in reference clips are not allowed.
Fraud and deception
Content made to deceive — fake evidence, impersonation of officials, financial scams, or clips presented as documentary footage when they are synthetic — violates the policy even when the underlying photos are yours.
How enforcement works
Every upload and every finished video passes an automated safety review before it reaches you. Uploads that fail are blocked before any payment is taken; finished videos that fail are never delivered, and credits are returned automatically. Repeat attempts, and any attempt to bypass the checks, end the account without refund.
Automated review is not perfect. If you believe a blocked upload was a false positive, or you see generated content that violates this policy, report it — every report is reviewed by a person.
Trend-specific rules
Memorial and tribute videos
Hug videos recreating someone who has passed are one of the most-used features — and allowed, when the person consented while living or the requester is a close family member using a photo they have the rights to. The model renders a stylized embrace, not a resurrection; label the clip as AI-generated when you post it.
Performance videos and artists
The rap templates generate original performances with synthetic audio — they do not clone any artist's voice, face or flow. Uploading photos of a recording artist "as a joke" is treated like any real-person upload: blocked without consent, and repeated attempts end the account.
Music and audio
Generated clips carry their own model-created audio. Uploading copyrighted songs as reference material, or pairing the output with copyrighted tracks in ways that require a license, is between you and the platform you post to — the clip itself never contains copied music.
Pets, cartoons and stylized photos
Pet photos work on the single-subject trend and are welcome. Illustrated and anime-style photos generate stylized results — allowed, as long as the underlying artwork is not a copyrighted character you do not control.
Reporting and appeals
Reports of policy-violating content are reviewed by a person within 48 hours; confirmed violations are removed and the generating account is sanctioned up to termination. False-positive blocks can be appealed the same way — automated classifiers misfire occasionally, and a correctly appealed photo that passes review will generate normally on the next attempt.
A note on context
Context changes what the same clip means. A hug video between consenting friends is a tribute; the same clip presented as real news footage is deception. A stylized cartoon render is a trend; a photorealistic render of a public figure in a compromising scene is impersonation. The policy is written against impact, not just pixels — and the most restrictive reading applies whenever the context could cause real harm to a real person.
Records we keep
Enforcement decisions — blocked uploads, failed output reviews, account sanctions — are recorded with the reason and the automated classifier output, so that appeals can be judged against what the system actually saw and repeat patterns are visible across attempts. These records are kept as long as the account exists, are visible only to the moderation process and the account owner, and never appear on any public page.
